| David Nunes - Owner
David Nunes, owner of Fitness Together in Dublin California has
been involved in the fitness and bodybuilding industry for over
25 years. He became a certified Personal Trainer, several years
ago and has been training clients ever since. His background stems
from years of successful bodybuilding competitions. Dave’s
success has come from dedication, consistency, drive and holding
himself accountable for his own goals. He now has a passion for
sharing his knowledge and is confident that he knows what it takes
to be successful. He is very excited about passing it onto his Fitness
Together staff and new clients. Dave has always said, “This
is not Rocket Science, but it is a lifestyle”. He understands
the specific needs of the client and is focused on helping them
achieve their health goals through an individualized fitness program
for maximum results. |

Rich Rodriguez – Manager, Personal Trainer
Rich is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Council
for Certified Personal Trainers (NCCPT), International Sports Science Association
(ISSA), and Fitness Together. Rich has been involved with sports and physical
fitness since early childhood, and feels that it is vital that people remain
active, as this will keep you feeling younger and happier. Becoming a trainer
has been one of his most rewarding endeavors, “There is nothing more gratifying
than knowing that you’re making a difference that will greatly improve
someone’s health and wellbeing, as well as ultimately helping to prolong
their life.” Some of Rich’s interests are hiking, weightlifting,
and helping people reach their fitness goals.

Kim Nunes – Personal Trainer
Kim has been involved in physical activity for the last 14 years! In the past 7 years she has become serious in her daily training. She has a very regimented workout schedule that she sticks to every single day and believes that consistency and dedication will get you the results you desire! Kim is a certified personal trainer with Fitness Together and is also currently a Hairstylist working with clients on a daily basis. She has already achieved an AA degree in Business, and has never stopped working towards her goals. She believes that you can achieve anything you put your mind to! Believe in yourself! |

Shaun Nunes – Personal Trainer
Shaun is a certified Personal Trainer. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University. He grew up around bodybuilding and a healthy lifestyle. He is in the process of taking his National Council on Strength and Fitness certification exam for extended knowledge in the field of personal training. He has a passion to for the body and how it works. His goals are to help you understand how your body functions and how to transform it to look the way you want it to look. He says, “working out shouldn’t be a chore, its more of a consistent daily activity that you permanently put in your things to do.” He doesn’t consider this career as “work” or a “job” because it surrounds him daily with all the things he loves most. Even before he knew this is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life, he was in the gym 5-6 times per week. He says, “When work doesn’t feel like work you have so much fun, mainly because you want to do it, not because you have to!” Shaun is looking to gain as much knowledge in this field so he can eventually own his own Fitness Together. His father (Dave, owner of Fitness Together-Dublin) has been into bodybuilding and a healthy lifestyle since Shaun was born, and as time has gone on, it just seems as if it runs in the genes. That’s the only way to explain Shaun’s great passion for the body. |

Carl Siu – Personal Trainer
Cardio boxing & kick boxing instructor
Carl is a certified personal trainer through the National Health Club Association ( NHCA) along with his certification through Fitness Together; Carl also is our expert in cardio boxing and kick boxing. Carl has been personal training clients for about 18 years. His passion for personal training began in Hawaii where he was also a lifeguard at the Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Resort. Working on the beach taught him the importance of being both mentally and physically fit. Like the ocean life can calm one minute and be rough the next. Carl’s passion is helping people; it just comes naturally to him. “Training our Fitness Together clients means that I’m helping them better themselves physically and promotes self confidence and when that happens they are prepared to take on life’s big waves".

Mike Herrin – Personal Trainer
Mike has been in the fitness industry for the past 9 years, and is certified as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Therapist through the International Sports Sciences Association. He is also in the process of completing his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice Administration at California State University East Bay. Mike battled obesity throughout his childhood. At age 16, he reached his peak weight of 310 pounds, and decided it was time to change. He began educating himself on proper nutrition and fitness practices, and lost 120 pounds. His weight loss spawned a passion for physical fitness and sparked his desire to assist others in reaching their fitness goals. He currently trains in the Korean martial art of Hapkido, has a solid strength and endurance training regiment, and is training for a triathlon. Mike believes exercise is medicine for the mind, body, and soul. “My life would not be complete if I couldn’t help people feel better, look better, and strive to be better.” |
